Vitamin C is ascorbic acid — powerful, and notoriously unstable in heat, light and air. SKEYNDOR has formulated it since 1997 and now works with four forms across the range, choosing each for its job: fast-acting ethyl ascorbic acid, slow-release ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate — a form shown to deliver 700% greater cellular absorption than pure ascorbic acid — pure ascorbic acid sealed under nitrogen in ampoules, and gentle ascorbyl glucoside for daily creams.

The work it performs

What it does

Antioxidant defence

Neutralises the free radicals generated by city pollution and UV exposure — the daily defence the whole range is built on.

Radiance

Visibly brightens and adds luminosity — the benefit professionals emphasise first for tired, city-dulled skin.

Even tone

Acts on melanin formation, softening the look of superficial pigmentation and age spots over time.

Collagen signal

Ascorbic acid is the signal skin cells receive to begin producing collagen — every step of its formation depends on vitamin C.

Fast and slow

The two-derivative serum acts directly and rapidly while the oil-soluble form releases gradually — radiance now, and through the day.

In the cabin

The Antiox Brightening program opens with an ellagic-acid booster — shown to raise the skin cells' vitamin C absorption by 41% — before the 25% professional concentrate, super-fruit boosters, a cooling mask and jade Gua Sha ritual.

The Power C+ treatment

Handle with care

Build up rather than diving in: start with the creams, add the serum once daily, then move to morning and night over a week or two. Never stack two concentrates in the same application — one in the morning and one at night is the rule. Rest it if skin is inflamed, sunburned or highly reactive, and expect honesty from it: it softens superficial spots, not deep or hormonal pigmentation.
